What do I wear?
For pole workshops and private lessons realistically whatever you want as long as it is comfortable and allows movement. Shorts are a must unless we are working on something that doesn't require gripping the pole, shorts are recommended as skin contact with the pole helps with grip. You can also bring heels if you're comfortable. If you are ensure also feel free to reach out!
What do I bring?
Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, a small towel to clean the pole after use (If you forgot I will have some spare), and an open mind! Grip aid is optional, but we can recommend some if needed.
Do I need any prior strength?
Absolutely not! Our lessons are designed for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. We focus on building strength and technique progressively, safely, and at your own pace. Just keep in mind if you are a total beginner we are probably not going to nail that Ayesha you have been eyeing off in the first few lessons.
How long are classes?
Our workshops typically run for 1 -2 hours depending which one you have chose. Private lessons are usually can be between 1 - 2 hours depending on how long you would like to book for. Specific durations will be confirmed upon booking.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, you can! We offer 'bring your bestie' lesson plans for private sessions, making it a fun and supportive experience to try pole dancing with a friend.
I'm worried about not having any strength.
This is a very common concern, and you're not alone! Spicy Pole will be guiding you through exercises that gradually build the necessary strength. You'll be surprised at how quickly you progress, even if you start with no prior strength.
I'm concerned about my body size or image.
